1. INCIDENT SUMMARY:

Evening investigation was conducted at the Paranormal Research Museum, a location noted for its eclectic collection of alledged haunted artefacts and documented reports of tactile and visual phenomena.

Despite a noticeably flat atmosphere, the session produced multiple minor anomalies throughout the evening, including unexplained knocks, footsteps, and physical sensations. Activity can be described as intermittent but curious, with several incidents gaining significance, only in hindsight during post-investigation discussion.

2. OBSERVATIONS AND EVIDENCE:

GENERAL ACTIVITY

  • Unexplained Sounds:

  • Multiple taps and knocks were heard in different rooms without identifiable sources.

  • Sounds were brief, irregular, and non-rhythmic, with no correlation to building noises or investigator movement.

Tactile Phenomena:

  • Several investigators reported hair and face touching sensations, unaccompanied by airflow or physical cause.

  • No drafts were detected at time of occurrence.

Footsteps:

  • Footfalls were heard during the early part of the night when all officers were stationary.

  • Directional movement was noted but no visible figure located.

VISUAL ANOMALY – STAIRCASE INCIDENT:

  • Investigators Shane and Nikki observed a figure ascending the main staircase.

  • Believing the figure to be Pete, they did not pursue.

  • Subsequent verification confirmed Pete had not left his position.

  • No one else was present on that level at the time.

  • Figure description: indistinct silhouette, human-shaped, no audible movement associated.

PERCEPTION & ATMOSPHERE:

  • The team described the overall feeling as flat or quiet, yet when reflecting later, realised numerous minor anomalies had taken place.

Emotional Tone:

  • high spirits (no pun intended), curious detachment mixed with confusion at intermittent nature of events.

HUMAN PENDULUM EXPERIMENT - “TORTURE CUPBOARD”:

  • Location: Small enclosed room approximately the size of double wardrobe.

  • Participant officers: Nikki (grounded/observer), Sarah and Shane (pendulum participants).

  • Both pendulum participants reported swaying in synchrony, without conscious coordination.

  • No external vibration or airflow noted.

  • Space was confined, increasing the oddity of the movement correlation.

  • Despite prior scepticism, both participants acknowledged the experience as genuinely unusual.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • At one stage, confusion arose regarding Rich 2 allegedly hugging Nikki goodbye, while holding a doll.

  • Rich 2 later confirmed he was unaware Nikki had even left the room at that time.

  • Given the specificity of the perceived event, this remains unexplained.

3. CONCLUSION:

The investigation as a whole yielded a collection of subtle but unexplained phenomena, including sounds, tactile sensations and one confirmed visual anomaly. Although no standout ‘breakthrough’ event occurred, the cumulative pattern of intermittent activity and personal experiences warrants further study.

The human pendulum experiment produced results inconsistent with normal physical expectations, while the staircase figure remains unexplained yet verified by multiple witnesses.

Classification:

  • Unexplained – Low to Moderate Activity.

  • Overall tone subdued, yet evidence sufficient to merit re-evaluation of the site under stricter control conditions.

  • Previous visits have felt more charged.

4. RECOMMENDATIONS:

Further Investigation:

  • A previous investigation at this site with Investigating officer Claire and Ghost Theory (check out their YouTube channel), phenomena occurred for Claire in the Attic room, notoriously known for a male entity praying on females. On this investigation, female officers felt uncomfortable and atmospheric changes were noted, but felt more investigation is needed.

  • Repeat session focusing on staircase area and “Torture Cupboard.”

  • Employ static cameras covering stairwell angles and corridor approach.

Environmental Baselines:

  • Record air currents, EMF, and temperature before and after tactile reports.

Controlled Replication:

  • Recreate human pendulum experiment with control observers and baseline stillness test.

Trigger Object Monitoring:

  • Deploy pressure sensors or motion detection near doll used during initial confusion event.

Atmospheric Study:

  • Document investigator mood or energy levels; consider correlation between subdued emotional tone and level of activity.

FINAL NOTE:

Although the team left feeling the atmosphere had been somewhat flat, retrospective analysis indicates more activity occurred than initially realised. The Museum continues to present consistent low - mid level anomalies that resist rational explanation. Further structured investigation recommended to determine if the phenomena are artefact-based, environmental, or residual.
