PC PARANORMAL CASE FILE
FORCE: PC Paranormal
LOCATION: Tudor World.
DATE/TIME: 06/06/2025 2030-0300hrs
WEATHER CONDITIONS: Temp 10-15c. Partly cloudy/overcast. Wind, light breeze, precipitation Nil.
INVESTIGATING OFFICERS: Claire, Dawn, James, Nikki, Pete, Rich.
HISTORY OF THE BUILDING:
The site at 40 Sheep Street has been occupied since the late 12th Century, with foundations dating back to 1196.
Shrieve’s House (1536). Home to William Shrieve, Archer to Henry VIII.
Falstaff’s House (16th C.) Tavern run by William Rogers, thought to inspire Shakespeare’s Falstaff. His daughter was a close friend of Shakespeare’s daughter Suzannah.
Fires: Rebuilt after the 1594 Stratford fire, survived later 17th century fires.
Civil War(1642) Billeted Parliamentary soldiers during the battle of Edgehill.
17th c. Home of John Woolmer, Stratford’s first Mayor.
Later years: known as “Falstaff’s House,” before becoming the Tudor World Museum.
1 INCIDENT SUMMARY
Investigation at Tudor World produced limited initial activity, with conditions largely calm throughout the building. Significant anomalous event occurred in the attic room involving physical displacement of a trigger object (cat ball), accompanied by heightened sensations of discomfort reported by officers.
2 OBSERVATIONS AND EVIDENCE:
Environmental conditions:
Notable fluctuations in room temperature observed.
Possible drafts due to age and construction of building (lack of modern glazing and timber construction).
External noise (local pubs) before closing time. Quietened later.
Atmosphere:
General sense of calm in most areas of the building.
Notable shift in atmosphere on entry to the attic room - officers described feeling “uncomfortable” and “jittery.”
Trigger Object - Cat Ball:
Cat balls placed around attic as improvised trigger objects.
One ball positioned on a sturdy chair adjacent to an altar like structure draped with dark veil netting.
During call outs, Officer James (seated with back to the altar), reported sensation of presence behind him and physical touch.
Immediately following this, the cat ball, was forcefully ejected from the chair at an unnatural trajectory.
Officers Rich and Pete attempted to replicate this movement without success.
Incident corroborated by multiple officers present.
Post Event Conditions:
Activity subsided after trigger object incident.
Remainder of evening was uneventful.
Limitations:
Lack of audio/video recording equipment at time of event.
Evidence therefore based solely on officer testimony and direct visual corroboration.
3 CONCLUSION:
The investigation at Tudor World was largely quiet, with the notable exception of the cat ball incident in the attic room. The event was witnessed simultaneously by multiple officers and could not be replicated under controlled conditions, suggesting a potential anomalous occurrence.
4 RECOMMENDATIONS:
Future investigations should employ full monitoring equipment, (video, audio, EMF), to capture physical and environmental anomalies.
Extended vigils in the attic room recommended, due to reported change in atmosphere and trigger object displacement.
Additional trigger objects and control experiments to be utilised for validation of activity.
FINAL NOTE:
Officers agree the attic room at Tudor World demonstrates unexplained phenomena worthy of further structured investigation, with the potential to yield stronger evidence under Improved monitoring conditions.
